The Debate Is On: Push Versus Pull Marketing
9. November 2018Beating Harvard: NEC Business Case Challenge
30. November 2018When it comes to pursuing a business degree, taking the time to stop, relax, socialize and celebrate is as important to a student’s success as the long study sessions, good time management skills and overall perseverance. NEC’s Semester Welcome Drink gives students, faculty, alumni and friends the opportunity to stop, mid-semester, and simply celebrate the culmination of hard work and impending success that a semester of business studies will bring.
The choice of venue for the Winter Semester 2018 Welcome Drink was clear: Munich’s Lovelace Hotel would provide the perfect backdrop with its rich history, stunning frescoes, contemporary interior designs and overall concept as a forum for collaboration, politics, community and art. Along with its impressive views of Munich’s skyline, guests agreed that the Lovelace Hotel could not have been a better choice.
Students, faculty and alumni alike were delighted to join together at the Welcome Drink and celebrate the start of the Winter Semester 2018. With a record number of guests, it was also an exciting moment to reflect on New European College’s early days and rapid success since its founding in 2015. Today, there are more than 150 students enrolled at New European College who represent more than 40 nationalities and 27 spoken languages.
“The success of New European College becomes truly visible when you consider that the employment rate of our graduating students is close to 100% and 10 of our graduates have started their own businesses,” commented Chancellor Sascha Liebhardt. “It is our community’s passion for New European College and our students and faculty that have been the invisible force enabling us to offer a personalized, hands-on business education that focusses on our students’ future. We were thrilled to take a moment at the Welcome Drink to say ‘thank you’ and celebrate the thriving community that propels New European College towards the future.”
