Germany Ranked First in Europe and Third in the World for Study Abroad!
11. February 2020“Choices for Success” with Executive Leadership Coach Dan Norenberg
4. March 2020When you ask Chancellor Liebhardt about his approach to business education, he will tell you that it should be “entrepreneurial, sustainable and fun”. The quality of our teaching staff at New European College and content of our academic programs is as important to our students’ education as is their enjoyment of the subject matter and experience on campus.
A genuine and holistic business education where the student can fully exercise his or her entrepreneurial thinking must therefore be underpinned with…fun. In this way, social events like last Saturday’s Meet & Greet are as essential to a New European College student’s experience as the industrial visits, guest speakers and networking events that are on offer.
Particularly this school year, New European College has welcomed more students to its campus than ever before. It was therefore a highlight for new and current students alike to meet and connect at the Meet & Greet. Due to our new academic partnership with Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences and their innovative program structure, students are now able to begin their studies at six different times per year. This means that more students from a greater range of countries are starting their studies at New European College and events that bring students, lecturers and alumni together are more important than ever before.
In support of one of NEC’s most recent alumni success stories, the Meet & Greet was held at GoodWine Bar – a cozy wine bar in downtown Munich that was founded in 2019 by NEC Alumni Ekaterina Kuzmenko and Vladislav Anisimov. The vision of GoodWine Bar is to bring the community together with affordable drinks, tasty snacks and an open environment to meet new people. Ekaterina and Vladislav provided an exceptional and welcoming atmosphere for their NEC guests. It was an honor to have them host us and inspire our students with their own journey from NEC students to successful entrepreneurs.
“With busy and staggered schedules, it can be a challenge to find moments where the entire NEC community is in one place at one time. But social inclusion and enjoyment is at the center of the experience we want our students to have while studying at New European College. That is why we find it so important to take time outside the school day and off campus to create a relaxed and friendly space for everyone to connect and get to know each other better” comments NEC Chancellor and Founder Sascha Liebhardt.
