A Warm Welcome For Our June Intake Students
4. June 2019Congratulations to the Class of 2019!
12. June 2019When Vittorio Tagliabue – NEC graduate program lecturer and Nokia’s Head of Business Line – arranged an industrial visit to Nokia Bell Labs in downtown Munich, students knew they would be in for an afternoon of unparalleled professional development.
Students were enthusiastically welcomed to Nokia’s Digital Creativity Lab (DCL) and subsequently introduced to Bell Lab‘s renowned telecommunications and information technologies reputation. A series of dynamic and educational presentations followed, covering topics from the history of Nokia and the challenges of innovation in the age of data explosion, to the vision of the Nokia DCL in Munich and Nokia’s efforts to implement 5G technology in the coming years.
Afterwards, students took part in a series of product and project demonstrations, giving them the opportunity to connect their newly acquired knowledge with real world application. Demonstrations covered Nokia’s latest IoT and blockchain security technologies, as well as the implementation of 5G connectivity in Hamburg.
New European College sincerely thanks Vittorio Tagliague, Malgorzata Gschirr (Corporate Events and Online Projects Manager), Simone Redana (Head of Network & Architecture), Francesca Sartori (Head of e2e 5G Sales Europe) and the entire DCL team at Nokia for providing such a comprehensive, educational and welcoming experience for New European College’s Masters and MBA students.
